COURSE OVERVIEW
Transporting dangerous goods by air is carefully regulated by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This course is designed to provide extensive knowledge of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) for any hazmat employee who offers, accepts, or transports dangerous materials as air freight. Those who successfully complete this course receive an IATA accredited certificate.

- Using the dangerous goods list, numerical cross list, and special provisions
- Packing requirements and instructions and Q-values
- Understanding the UN specification markings
- Marking and labeling of packages
- Limited quantities and overpacks
- Documentation
- Handling, emergency response procedures, and security
